Whitesboro man arrested for armed robbery
BURLEIGH—A Whitesboro man was arrested early Sunday morning, police said, for allegedly
robbing a 62-year-old man walking to his car in the parking lot of WaWa here on Route 9.

offenses after he approached a man outside of the convenience store around 6:22 a.m. and
demanded money at gun point. Police said moments later another patron arrived at the store and
called police after the victim alerted him of the robbery. The victim then ran into the store, police
said, while Fields entered his car and rummaged through the passenger-side compartment and
then fled on his bicycle.
